Alanya Castle, the Red Tower and the sea caves from your own boat
A private boat takes your group along the Alanya Castle headland, past the Red Tower and beside the sea caves around the peninsula: Pirate Cave, Lovers' Cave and the Phosphorus Cave. The captain slows down beside them and adapts the route to your group, sea and weather permitting.
Why see the peninsula from the water
Alanya's medieval castle stands on the peninsula above the town. From the streets you see it up close, one corner at a time; from the sea you see the whole headland at once, with the sea caves at the water's edge.
On a private boat nobody else sets the pace. If you want to stay a little longer beside the cliffs to take photos, or move on quickly to the next swim stop, you tell the captain.
It also changes how you see the town afterwards. Once you have looked up at the headland from the water, a walk up to the castle on another day makes more sense.
The Red Tower and the old harbour
The Red Tower, Kızıl Kule, is the octagonal tower that stands by the old harbour and the historic shipyard. From the water you see the tower and the old harbour together, in one view.
The boat leaves from Alanya's harbour area, so the old harbour and the tower are part of the same stretch of coast as the castle headland.
The three sea caves
Three sea caves lie around the peninsula, and the boat slows down beside each of them so you can take them in from the deck. Which ones the sea lets you approach closely is the captain's call on the day.

What we promise, and what depends on the sea
We promise the route along the castle headland, the Red Tower and the caves, with swim stops in quiet bays. We do not promise entering any cave, a fixed order of sights or a set time at each one.
The reason is simple: the sea and the weather decide on the day, and the captain chooses what is sensible for your group. That flexibility is also what makes the route yours. The your own route guide explains how to ask for what matters to you.
Between the sights the captain looks for clear, quiet water for swimming. What those stops are like is described in swimming and snorkelling from the boat.
How to plan it
The trip lasts six hours with hotel transfer from central Alanya districts included, so you do not need to get to the harbour on your own. Bring a hat and sunglasses; you will want to spend time on deck looking at the headland.

Questions guests ask
Will we go inside the caves?
We do not promise it. The boat slows down beside Pirate Cave, Lovers' Cave and the Phosphorus Cave, and the captain decides on the day what the sea allows.
Can we see the castle walls from the boat?
Yes. The route runs under the Alanya Castle headland, so you see the walls and cliffs of the peninsula from the sea.
Is the Red Tower part of every trip?
It is on the recorded route. As with every stop, the captain adapts the route to the group and to the sea and weather. Dates are on the boat page.
